Job Description
- Lead the Accounting & Finance team in managing all aspects of financial operations.
- Develop and implement accounting systems and processes.
- Conduct financial analysis to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop budgets and financial plans.
- Identify opportunities for financial improvement and cost reduction.
- Mentor and develop junior members of the finance team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Professional accounting certification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or working towards.
- Experience leading a finance team in the retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
