Medical Receptionist (22.5 Hrs Pw)

Reporting to the Practice Manager my Client based BT9 area of Belfast require a Part-time Medical Receptionist to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis with a view to becoming permanent

Duties:

• Meet & greet all patients to the front desk
• Answer all telephone calls
• Process prescription requests
• File and hand out prescriptions to patients
• General Administration (filing; post; scanning etc.)
• Although during the working day any of these areas may interchange according to the needs of the practice and patients and other duties may be added as required

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience in a similar role (to include telephone & face to face contact)
• 4 GCSE’s @ grade A – C inc English & Maths or equivalent
• Fully computer literate
• Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative
• Excellent communication & organizational skills
• Flexibility to cover sickness & holidays
• Experience in a medical environment working with EMIS Web (GP surgery) advantageous although training will be given

22.5 hours pw Monday, Thursday & Friday 8.45am – 5.45pm

£11.11 ph
