The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Operative – Lifting Supervisor you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will ensure all ensure all Lifting Operations are carried out to LOLER regulations.
Day to day, you’ll provide supervision for safe lifting across the site.
- Maintain the flow of work and setting the pace
- Support the mentoring of lifting work party members
- Support all investigations, assessments and audits
- Promote safe, compliant and efficient conduct of Lifting Operations
This role is full time on site at HMNB Clyde
Experience Required of the Multi-Skilled Operative – Lifting Supervisor
- Background in Slinging, Lifting, Scaffolding etc
- Working knowledge of LOLER and other industry regulations
- Knowledge of risk assessments
- HSE knowledge
Qualifications for the Multi-Skilled Operative - Lifting Supervisor
- SVQ / NVQ level 3 Controlling lift operations
- Working at Height
- NPORS or equivalent preferred
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
