The Role:
As a National Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the business forward by managing two key UK retail accounts circa £30m turnover.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our retail partners, negotiating contracts, and implementing strategies to maximise sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with national retail accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure alignment and execution of initiatives.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in National Account management within the consumer goods industry.
- Experience managing large demanding retail accounts
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
