Elevation Recruitment Group is in working exclusively with an Engineering business in Rotherham, seeking a dynamic Office Manager. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the business with Office Management, HR, and Finance administration.
Key Responsibilities of the Office Manager:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies
- Handle basic HR-related inquiries and assist in the resolution of employee concerns
- Work closely with the finance team to track and reconcile office expensea
- Assist in budget planning and monitoring for office-related expenditures
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external parties, vendors, and clients
- Draft and edit internal and external communications, including emails and reports
- Management of 1-2-1s, personal development and concerns of the wider administrative team
- Create new policies and procedures in line with any company changes
Key Skills of the Office Manager:
- Proven experience in an office management role managing people and process
- Experience of working within a fast paced Engineering or Manufacturing environment essential
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using IT software
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
