Payroll Administrator

A multi-sited, award winning Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors in Yorkshire has an opportunity for an experienced, full time, permanent Payroll Administrator to join their expanding team within their York office.

This position offers the right individual the opportunity to grow within the role and work alongside a professional and friendly team.

A SNAPSHOT OF THE PAYROLL ADMINISTRATORS’ DAY

• Importing and data entry from Excel spreadsheets
• End to end processing of payroll data for our PAYE employees and contractors
• Creating and issuing of customer invoices
• Creating and issuing spreadsheets to our customers
• Issuing of P45’s, payslips and any other payroll documentation
• Dealing with day-to-day customer queries via telephone and email

• Previous payroll experience, ideally in a bureau background
• Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
• Knowledge of payroll systems
• Able to work well as part of a team as well as independently
