Payroll Administrator

Our client are looking for a Payroll admin to join them on a interim basis. As a Finance Contractor, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, pensions, and employee benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Processing monthly payroll, including starters, leavers, sick pay, and parental leave.
- Reconciling pension contributions for all University schemes.
- Ensuring compliance with PAYE and pension scheme requirements, including timely reporting to HMRC.
- Acting as the main point of contact for pension queries and liaising with providers.
- Leading on tax year end processing and reporting.
- Updating payroll procedures manual to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Undertaking any other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Experience in payroll processing and pensions administration.
- Strong knowledge of PAYE and pension scheme regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to confidentiality and data protection.
