JGA are supporting an organisation that are seeking a HR and Payroll assistant to support the team on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- First point of call for all HR queries
- Supporting all payroll data, payroll preparation, starters, leavers, maternity etc.
- Assisting the HR Team with daily admin tasks
- Dealing with starters and leavers
- Support, arrange and conduct exit interviews
- Ensure the HR database is up to date and accurate
- Ensure certain policies are up to date
- Send out information and manage benefits
- Record sickness absences
- Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process
- Send out paperwork and reminders
- Maintain training schedule with up-to-date courses
- Manage course date changes
- Send reminders to trainers and attendees of all courses running
Skills They Look For:
- Experience in carrying out HR Generalist duties
- Exposure to data input for payroll
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team
