Description
- Assisting with the processing of payroll for all staff members.
- Supporting the accounting team with ledger duties and account reconciliations.
- Handling HMRC reporting and communications.
- Managing timesheets and overtime payments.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data confidentiality.
- Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering related queries.
- Participating in internal and external audits.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of payroll processes.
Profile
A successful Payroll/Accounts Assistant should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of payroll legislation and HMRC regulations.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work as part of a team.
Job Offer
