A Not-for-Profit organisation with a national remit are looking to recruit a Payroll Assistant to their team on an interim basis. This is the ideal role for a seasoned Payroll Assistant who can hit the ground running, they will offer plenty of support in the role and will afford you every opportunity to be successful.
The role:
- Providing payroll services in an accurate and timely manner to ensure that all financial statutory, procedural and contractual requirements are adhered to and appropriately updated
- Working closely with the team to ensure all employees understand the expenses policy and are reimbursed correctly and in a timely fashion
- Assisting all employees and volunteers with any queries that may arise in a sympathetic and considerate way via telephone and email
- Creating and posting journals for the employee and volunteer expense payments onto the accounting system
- Collating expense claims and other documentation for certain projects that require supporting evidence for claiming payment from funders
The person:
- You will have experience of working within a payroll setting
- Experienced in processing employee expenses using a computerised accounts system
- You will have experience of working with Finance and Payroll systems such as SAP, iTrent and Netsuite
- You will have a proactive approach and ability to work flexibility within a team and independently.
