We delighted to be in the position to recruit for a Performance Operations Managerto join our thriving Credit Hire team based in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the work they do, the service they provide and getting the best results for their clients.

You will be responsible for managing the performance of the file handlers and case progression within the department.

Responsibilities:

· Interpret Management Information

· Work in collaboration with senior mangers to identify areas of underperformance and suggest solutions to address the same.

· Identify training and staff development needs.

· Maintain and improve employees' performance in line with an organisation's objectives.

· Keep under review Key Performance Indicators to ensure fit for purpose.

· Focus on accountability and transparency and foster a clear understanding of expectations.

· Work in collaboration with IT and the Management Information team to develop intuitive and innovative tools and software to enhance performance visibility and management.

· Annalyse data to identify areas for improvement and trends and efficiency gains,

· Sample audit cases to identify risks, underperformance, and efficiency gains.

· Produce coherent reports daily, weekly and monthly reports highlighting areas of good, average and under performance.

· Manage a small team of people reviewing performance and auditing cases.

· Undertake any other tasks as deemed relevant and reasonable by the business.

About you:

· Ideally, come from a legal litigation background with a good understanding of legal principles.

· Proven performance management experience and skills

· Good sound judgement and commercial awareness.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.

· Ability to organise and prioritise a day’s work.

· Experience in using Excel.

· Competent working with a case management system and have a good knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.

· Desirable:

· Previous case handling experience

· Experience of managing a small team

· Experience in personal injury and or credit hire would be helpful but not essential.

· Team player working to achieve business and team goals.

· Self-motivated and use own initiative.

· Resilient and able to work in a fast paced, challenging and changing environment.
