The business is an ambitious multidisciplinary Building Services Consultancy, operating across education, commercial, residential, heritage, and transport industries. They specialise in maximising the efficiency of buildings through innovative mechanical and electrical design solutions. Examples of work include new build, extension, fit-out, refurbishment, and masterplans across all industries. The business pride themselves on being one of the largest independent sustainability led consultancies in the UK. They are now looking to onboard a Mechanical Engineer at a Principal level to continue their sustainable growth.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a senior position within mechanical design and hold relevant Mechanical Engineering qualifications. The ideal candidate will also be able to commute to Manchester offices and drive to sites within the locality.

The Role
*Acting as the lead in project surveys and project design.
*Supervision of engineers on site.
*Contract administration.
*Overall management of mechanical services installations.
*Hybrid role split between home working (and site visits) and office working in Manchester.
The Person
*Experience within a Senior Mechanical Engineer position.
*Proficient in design of mechanical services and efficiency in design software.
*Experience managing junior engineers and team members.
*Building services background.
*Driving licence and own transport.
