Principal Mechanical Engineer

Our client are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Professional Services team based in Manchester

Responsibilities

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you'll be working within the Professional Services team, supporting them in with the delivery of a broad range of Civil & Structural / MEICA related services in both Temporary and Permanent Works throughout the business. You will also contribute to the delivery of more complex services by providing solutions which are safe and buildable (in both their temporary and permanent states), above all other consideration

Your day to day will include:

• Managethe development of fee proposals, agreeing the technical requirements of the client remit, ensuring it is fully understood, questioning, and advising where necessary
• Organise and Manage the day-to-day workload of engineers and technical staff within the design team, ensuring technical compliance of the design to the remit
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements and Company policies/procedures, including CDM Regulations and design Quality Management System (QMS)

What are we looking for?

This role of Principal Mechanical Engineer is great for you if:

• Chartered member of a relevant professional institution (e.g., CEng MICE)
• Several years of postgraduate experience
• Valid CSCS card and full driving licence
