What you'll do
As a Product Development Manager within Sainsbury's Brand / Food Commercial division, you will play a crucial role in identifying new trends and inspiration to launch innovative products that resonate with our customers and align with our commercial plan. As the custodian of customer quality measures, you will ensure that all products developed meet the highest standards of taste and quality, utilising customer insights to drive decision-making. In collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers, you will shape and drive the product plan and innovation strategy for your category, taking into account market trends and competitive insights. Additionally, you will manage the end-to-end process of design generation, ensuring compliance to all steps and documentation, and collaborate with various business partners to showcase and champion new products. With your commercial awareness, strong project management skills, and ability to analyse complex data, you will contribute to the success of new product launches and drive sales growth.

Your ability to make strategic decisions and provide direction in areas such as Product Development, design, and quality standards showcases your expertise and leadership in the field.
