Generating Genius connects students from disadvantaged backgrounds with top businesses which use STEM, and with top universities, through our Junior Genius, Post-16 Genius and Future Talent programmes.

The Position
We’re looking for a highly motivated programme manager, with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to run the Future Talent Programmes. The ideal applicant will also be able to design and deliver career development workshops.
Current Future Talent Programmes are:
● Work experience & internship preparation programmes
● Corporate Mentoring Programmes
● Corporates Insight Days
● Industry Skills Programmes
● Scholarships Programme
Salary: £40,000 to £42,000 pro rata
Location: Hybrid, can be based in London or Birmingham, 1 day per week in office
Job Type: Permanent Role. 3, 4 or 5 days per week
Earliest Start Date: October 2023
Security Clearance: DBS Clearance and references will be required
Responsibilities and Duties:
● Managing the existing Future Talent Programmes and creating new Future Talent programmes
● Adjusting the existing Future Talent programmes where necessary
● Organising work experience programmes, organising and attending events with students
● Design & run a rolling high volume student recruitment campaign using Linkedin and University relationships
● Liaising with partnership companies to coordinate future talent partner programmes
● Representing the organisation with companies and students
● Ensure compliance with all necessary health and safety legislation for every event.
Essential skills and experience:
● Degree educated, Strong Excel skills, Strong verbal, and written communication skills
● Must have previous experience in designing and delivering career development workshops for students aged 14 to 25 years. Must have previous experience in training volunteers.
● Must be able to do regular travel across the country
● Ability to manage multiple tasks with problem solving and critical thinking skills
● Previous event planning, programme management and partnership building experience
