The work is focused on the tokenisation, trading, and settlement of financial instruments as Digital Assets. This is a chance to work on an innovative, intellectually challenging project backed by the influential reach of London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG).
We are seeking an experienced Product Director to focus on defining and executing the product strategy for the creation, issuance, and operational management of Digital Assets. The programme is highly interdependent with continuous interaction between Product, Client Engagement, Operations, and Regulation, which means candidates with experience of working on large projects in financial markets is highly desirable.
In this role, you will take responsibility for working with stakeholders, both internal and external, to understand requirements, define the functionality, and drive the implementation of digital asset creation for our asset-, chain-, and jurisdiction-agnostic digital asset infrastructure.
Key responsibilities of the role:
  • Develop and execute the product roadmap for LSEG's digital asset creation capabilities
  • Collaborate with technology, sales, compliance and marketing teams to define and prioritise product features and functionality for Digital Assets
  • Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to inform product development
  • Suggest and implement improvements to the Product Development Lifecycle, including changes to the ideation, documentation, review and delivery of product change
  • Manage product management tooling and resources as appropriate
  • Maintain product documentation, marketing, knowledge base and other assets as appropriate
  • Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Manage budgets and resources to deliver high-quality products on time and with desirable scope
  • Communicate digital asset product vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent the Product leadership and support the wider Digital Assets team as required
Essential experience and skills required:
  • Proven experience in product management for digital asset solutions or services in the fintech or financial services industry
  • Detailed knowledge of asset creation workflows and services, both traditional and digital, with knowledge of private markets workflows advantageous
  • Understanding of Digital Assets, cryptoassets, cryptoeconomics, tokenized assets and stablecoins
  • Understanding of blockchain technology and its application in an operational business environment
  • Strong intellectual ability and stakeholder management skills and ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Superb communication skills; able to articulate ideas to internal and external audiences across all levels of seniority and collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Ability to work optimally at all levels of an organization and build positive relationships with team members, managers, and senior executives across the firm
