Principle Responsibilities: Managing new and existing product ranges within the business. Identify potential products, conduct market research, generate product requirements; determine specifications, and production timetables and contribute to product commercials surrounding pricing and marketing strategies.
Manage all product data on the internal system (Epicor) on a designated group of products including VPF.
Bring new products to market by analysing proposed product requirements and product development; preparing return-on-investment analyses; and establishing launch schedules with engineering and sales teams.
Negotiate terms with the supplier base surrounding cost prices and payment terms in line with the company's target. Introduce and market new products by developing plans with sales, marketing, and production.
Support internal sales teams concerning product information and knowledge requirements. Communicate new products throughout the business and take responsibility for training all areas of the business.
Assess market competition by comparing the company's products to the competition.
Provide data for product communications by defining product marketing communication objectives Determine customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information Responsibility for assisting with company inventory and product life cycle management.
Identify existing product ranges for design improvement by monitoring range penetration.
Assess product market data by calling on customers with the sales team.
Assist commercial team with pricing by utilising market research data.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; and reviewing
professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
