What you’ll do
- Lead business case development for new products, shaping future development aligned with business strategy.
- Ensure successful delivery of roadmap items within dynamic SCRUM teams, meeting high standards and project goals.
- Serve as a crucial link between stakeholders and development, making informed decisions on product direction and priorities.
- Identify new development potential, guide Proof of Concepts/prototypes, aligning with customer needs and Dev team expectations.
- Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, articulating requirements clearly for successful implementation.
- Take charge of defining user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritising product backlogs for efficient development.
- Collaborate with SCRUM team to set Sprint Goals, coordinating project delivery and fostering continuous improvement.
- Uphold team ethics, standards, and practices, actively influencing and inspiring the team toward a shared vision of success.
Who you are
- Agile Product Owner/Manager with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, demonstrating genuine ownership of a software product.
- Proven ability to work seamlessly with Developers, fostering effective collaboration.
- Confident and decisive, with a resilient approach to overcoming challenges.
- Proficient in prioritising and decision-making, ensuring a smooth Software Development Life Cycle.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, adept at conveying complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrable expertise in the full Software Development Life Cycle, from inception to deployment, ensuring comprehensive understanding and effective execution.
Desirable
- Understanding of recruitment with a strategic view of future market direction and requirements.
- Familiarity with concepts like APIs and data mapping.
- Preferred certification as a SCRUM Master or Product Owner.
- Knowledge of Microsoft solutions, including Office 365 and Dynamics 365.

At Mercury, we believe in the power of face-to-face collaboration. That’s why we encourage our team members to join us at our Coleshill office 2 days per week. However, we’re all about flexibility, so we support remote work the remaining days if that’s your preference.
