WHAT TO EXPECT
This role will focus on the integration, testing and delivery of the Seating System Product, using System Engineering Methods and Tools. The PO will be responsible to deliver our functional systems validation artefacts according to the programmes needs and aligned with Systems Integration strategies. The roles involve taking all the stakeholders needs, transferring those to the squad in a concise manner and make sure the product is delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and define the product for the squad, with all the details needed for development.
- Make data-driven decision and prioritise work for the squad, create a concise plan for sprints and quarters.
- Provide technical expertise in complex systems and tools and processes. E.g. Logical Architecture Diagram (LAD), Functional System Requirements Document (FSRD), Functional Failure Analysis (FFA), Requirements cascade, Requirements tools, Systems application onto programmes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities E.g., Resolution of quality concerns and prevent recurrence activities, together with System Leaders, test engineers and SME.
- Support squad members, technical specialists and SMEs through knowledge sharing.
- Buy into the system engineering process, methods and tools and take a consistent approach for the squad.
- Have a deep understanding of Agile mindset and support squad ceremonies.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Good relevant experience of working in a Systems Engineering environment - ideally within the Automotive Sector.
- Technical knowledge of Systems Engineering, V-Model, Systems Integration, Systems Architecture, Requirements management.
- Relevant experience of system definition, system architecture development, requirements specification, design/performance modelling, systems integration, system assessment and acceptance.
- A good working knowledge of product creation & delivery, change control, product definition and change management processes.
- Model based engineering (MBE) knowledge.
- Requirements Management (RM) knowledge.
- Good verbal and written communications.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Track record as an effective team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Degree qualified and equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML using Matlab & Dassault Systems (or similar).
- Understanding of project planning and delivery to plan.
