Mind in Brighton and Hove (MiBH) empowers and supports people who have experience of mental health issues in Brighton and Hove, East and West Sussex.
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to develop and deliver our project Men in Mind: Mental Health, Skills, Training and Support in East Sussex. The project provides a range of training and skills activities to engage and equip men in East Sussex to have supportive conversations about mental health and wellbeing with their peers.
The Men in Mind project has been running since January 2023 and has engaged and delivered mental health awareness training to public-facing businesses and spaces where men work and visit, predominatly in Eastbourne and Hailsham. Businesses engaged so far include barber shops, construction, manufactoring and sports venues. We are seeking an additional Project Coordinator to extend the project’s engagement with businesses to other areas in East Sussex and to businesses that have not yet engaged with the Men in Mind project.
The role will be varied and busy requiring excellent organisation, communication, and presentation skills and the ability to work flexibly. We are looking for someone with good understanding of the main issues surrounding men’s mental health, who can design and deliver training activities and resources responding to identified skills and training needs.
