We are seeking a Finance Assistant / Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to grow and develop within a supportive environment. The successful candidate will report to the Group Financial Controller / Purchase Ledger Supervisor and will be based at our head offices.
Day to day of the role:- Maintain Purchase Ledger records, posting monthly invoices ensuring accurate and timely processing in accordance with accounting deadlines.
- Prepare and process information for accurate monthly management accounts.
- Handle the processing of monthly expenses.
- Manage intercompany balances and accounts to trial balance.
- Produce intercompany balances.
- Carry out roles and responsibilities in accordance with business procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and establish trusted relationships with colleagues.
- AAT qualification or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with Sage is beneficial but not essential.
- Proficiency in Excel and other software packages.
