GBP50,000 to GBP55,000 DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension 4% Employee and 5% Employer + Death in Service Benefit 2x Annual Salary + Option to join Bupa after Probation
Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 4.30pm & Friday Early Finish at 1.30pm
Quality Manager required for a successful and well-established electronics manufacturer serving a wide-ranging customer base. The company have a professional yet supportive and friendly working environment.
The Quality Manager Role:
- Ensure product is manufactured to the required quality standards.
- Promote the company s right first time policy.
- Lead a team of personnel for quality issues defining, directing, and maintaining quality standards.
- Effectively manage the Corrective and Preventive action process.
- Identify and implement potential improvements, including cost reduction and yield or process improvements; lead/participate in continuous improvement team activity meetings.
- Be the Customer Liaison for product quality within the internal customer focus teams.
- Supervise skills matrix assessments and training.
- Interaction with customer and suppliers on quality related matters.
- Liaise with engineering on the NPI process.
- Be the management representative for all audits and manage the Company Quality Management System.
The Successful Quality Manager:
- Experience of a manufacturing environment, preferably in Electronics.
- Experience of implementing/maintaining AS9100 essential.
- Proven experience in lean manufacturing, 6 Sigma, FMEA / Risk assessments, supply chain development, Kaizen and 5s programs in a customer focused, dynamic electronic control manufacturing facility.
