(Register) Accountant

Financial Accountant Hybrid: 2 days in the office 3 days from home This role is primarily responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate financial records of the various entities within EMEA Group, primarily UK based. This is a hands-on role ensuring that statutory requirements are met, applying recognised accounting practices and safeguarding the assets of the operations. This position will report directly into the finance manager. EMEA IC AP settlement creations

• Multi currency bank reconciliations
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Create monthly journals for Oracle/SAP
• ARCs reconciliations (using Oracle’s online reconciliation portal)
• Online banking transfers ie. AR refunds, funding transfers, tax payments, template creations

SAP, ORACLE, CONCUR experience

• Good knowledge of Excel
• Familiarity with other Microsoft Applications;
• Knowledge of UK banking systems

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures • At least 5 years’ experience in an accounting department High level education and working towards a recognised accounting qualification (Qualified, Part qualified or QBE)
