£75 - 90,000 per annum plus benefits

Fantastic career opportunity for a Regulatory Accountant to join an investment brokerage based in London on a Fixed Term basis initially - there is scope for this to be made permanent.

Responsibilities of the Regulatory Accountant will include: 

·    Checking all financial inputs into the ICAAP, COREP, CASS and ILAAP processes. 
·    Producing FCA and HMRC regulatory returns.
·    Handling all queries raised within a timely manner. 
·    Creating risk reports. 
·    Supporting the finance team in providing financial analysis in response to queries from across the business. 
·    Creating daily, monthly and quarterly reports. 
·    Reviewing regulatory policy, proposals and consultation papers. 
·    Supporting financial project work and improving systems. 
·    Ensuring regulatory reporting procedures are updated on a regular basis. 

The Successful Regulatory Accountant will have: 

·    Strong knowledge of the accounting for financial instruments. 
·    A relevant accountancy qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA 
·    Detailed knowledge of compliance/financial regulatory reporting.
·    ICAAP, COREP and CASS experience.
·    The ability to manage ad hoc projects. 
·    The skillset to review and improve processes.
