Purpose of the Role: The Retail Operations Assistant will be accountable for managing the key communications that are sent to and received from stores. As the first responder to telephone calls the assistant will represent the operations department in a world class manner, ensuring all stores feel supported with their enquiries. Providing essential administrative support to the department and offer assistance where necessary to ensure the operations department is adding value and delivering on its purpose. Accountabilities: • To be the first point of contact to stores, resolving issues in a timely manner, escalating any matters to relevant persons and departments • Formatting the key communications that are sent to and received from stores including the uploading of reports to central intranet • Booking and communicating confirmation of any retail travel • Contribute to the collation of information relating to the weekly/monthly Informer (Retail Newsletter) • Communicate with stores on Tablet commission, prices changes and stationery orders • Format and communicate the Customer Service KPI to field • Distribution of all stores communications as per the retail weekly schedule Additional: • Instigate the creation of procedures to reduce workload, drive profit and improve efficiencies for stores and head office • Store visits – weekly to gain insight first hand and ways to work better and more efficient and report back to the department • Contribute to projects that drive profit, improve efficiencies or reduce workload in store • To communicate regularly with all head office departments, stores and manage them appropriately; dealing with matters as they may arise in a professional, efficient and thorough manner LIVING THE OFFICE VALUES – INNOVATION & PASSION – CONTRIBUTION FOCUSED – INVEST IN FUTURE POTENTIAL – ENCOURAGED TO LEARN & SHARE – EMBRACE THE POWER OF INCLUSIVE TEAMS – CELEBRATE & REWARD IN EXCELLENCE IN CONTRIBUTION

Qualifications and Experience

• High level of organisational skill and attention to detail • Good numerical and analytical skills (especially Excel) • Strong written and verbal skills • Open to learn and share • Courage to contribute idea’s • Recognize Unique contribution • Demonstrate innovation and energy • Retail experience in similar organisation beneficial
