Our client was established in the early 2000’s and are proud to be as strong as ever. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Sales/Account Manager to come in and help grow the Menswear team even further.
This company owns its own factories with accounts including River Island, Next, Zara and some supermarkets
Requirements
- Min 8 years’ experience in menswear business with high street, supermarkets and online pure lay retailers and suppliers.
- Is a connected individual that can develop long term business relationships with existing and potential clients in order to maximize growth and revenue potential.
- Specialised in Jersey knit, denim & knitted products, thus identifying key items and best seller updates.
- Excellent presentation skills, with a high taste level and an eye for detail.
- International work experience ideal for the suitable candidate.
- An influential team player and communicator, who can effectively lead and manage multiple teams within the critical path, delivering profitable and trend-driven ranges according to brand aesthetic and strategy.
- Demonstrable career success of growing business
- Worked across a multitude of manufacturing units
- Support in continuing to build a strong design team from the use of Freelancers and Full-time staff to build a world class design team.
- Excellent presentation skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Establish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volume and forecasting and developing sales quotas for territories and the region.
- Develop and review long- and short-term sales strategies
- Managing the end-to-end critical path.
- Working alongside factory partners to achieve the best possible prices.
- Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company’s relationship with them.
- Determine the company’s gross profit and annual unit plans by analysing trends and results and implementing marketing strategies.
- Create and develop long term business relationships with existing and potential clients in order to maximize growth and revenue potential.
- A strong ability to research and analyse trends through travel, market & fair and modern media resources, thus identifying key items and best seller updates.
- Maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers and other 3rd parties.
- Collaborating with the design team to develop ideas for new products based on research data
