We are recruiting on behalf of our client located close to Willenhall, West Midlands a Sales Co-ordinator.
A new position has become available within a well-established, family run and leading manufacturing business. The company, a big name within their industry supply their own UK made products into most leading outlets including Builders merchants, Retail, DIY stores, Tool Hire, Garden Centres, Agricultural Merchants & ecommerce.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a proven sales background to develop both new and existing business through calls, upselling and promotional marketing. You will also have strong communication skills and be able to communicate with people at all levels in a professional manner.
As an instrumental and key player, you will report to the Sales Director. You will become the internal link pin between departments within the business to chase progress on orders along with ensuring that customers receive the best customer experience.
Longer term, the company offer a structured route for progression within the senior sales team based on success.
Job role:
- Managing and developing existing accounts.
- Retain dormant/lost accounts.
- Pro-actively identify and target new accounts.
- Deal with incoming queries.
- Administration of orders and quotations.
- Liaising with internal departments such as logistics, production and accounts.
- Managing ecommerce customers.
- Web page support and development.
- Developing Company social media activity.
- Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and contracts.
- Maintain and manage the customer database.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of MS office (Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint), Windows and general comfort with technology SAGE experience would be an advantage.
- Sales and goals oriented.
- Independent, well-organised and experienced in sales and sales admin tasks.
- Charismatic, positive and passionate in their personality.
- Creative, flexible and proactive.
Preferred skills and experience:
- Previous business to business sales experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of the markets highlighted the company currently serve.
Salary: GBP26,000 - GBP28,000 per annum negotiable depending on experience + benefits (to be clarified).
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (1 hour lunch).
