My client is a market leading local business with over 25 years’ experience of designing, supplying and installing high-quality ventilation and heat recovery systems to both the domestic housing sector and light commercial market.
Their customer focused approach, supported with vast technical knowledge ensures a ‘hassle-free’ experience that has seen them become a trusted partner with many contractors, developers, ‘self-builders’ and social housing providers across Northern Ireland and beyond.
They now seek to recruit a competent Sales Manager to oversee the sales function, as a key player you will work closely with the MD to ensure the business continues to grow and expand. This is a full-time permanent position which offers a good level of autonomy. Hybrid / Work From Home option is available.
You will lead a small, dedicated team of Sales Representatives to build market share and drive sales in the domestic and light industrial sectors through proactive prospecting, targeted marketing and following up on leads/referrals. You will have the ability to identify and bring on new customer bases.Ideally you will have a working knowledge of CRM software.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated sales professional who thrives on working off their own initiative. As a confident communicator, you will be adept at building good longterm business relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors etc.
You will be commercially and financially astute with a focus on costs, margins, forecasts and budgets. It’s a given that you must be a decision maker and an effective negotiator. To help you achieve sales targets you will be keen to upskill your team by sharing your knowledge and experience through mentoring and coaching.
Ideally you’ll have 3+ years proven sales experience in this sector, candidates who have sales management experience within construction, building, HVAC etc will definitely be considered.
Starting salary of £35,000, plus bonus, expect to earn additional £25k in year one. Working hours start/finish times are negotiable. 28 days holiday, pension, iPad, Phone, Company car. 40 hours per week (Mon – Fri 8-5pm).
Full Driving Licence required. Client has facility near Castlewellan, role can be home/remote based, but will require some time weekly in the office and will require travel throughout NI on a weekly basis.
