A rapidly expanding freight and transport company is looking to employ a Sales Support - customer services executive to provide support to the Sales Director and sales team through Sales Support to allow them to focus on new and existing business development. The role will entail taking calls and messages from clients and customers and passing them onto the sales team, taking bookings, providing customer services, sending out invoices and customer services. General office admin, sending emails, inputting data onto the system which will involve the direct communication with customers via phone primarily and email, along with chasing feedback on quotations and maintaining customer contact.
ROLE: Sales Support - Customer Services
LOCATION: Berkhamsted
BASIC SALARY: 25k
HOURS: Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm
ROLE: Sales Support & Office administration duties such as emails, taking calls, excel reports
Arranging appointments for the Sales Manager or ascertaining the correct contacts and passing them onto the Sales Manager
Receiving inbound calls from within the branches client base and either redirect the call to the relevant employee or, if they are away from the office, deal with their call correctly in order to satisfy the customer's needs.
Providing support and information to clients when the Sales Manager is out of the office.
Logging any activity with the customer onto the system
Using the Internet and other resources to assist with lead generation.
Any other duty as dictated by your manager, from time-to-time.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Sales support or customer services experience within an office environment.
an excellent telephone manner and experience of taking and making calls
Excellent office administrative experience.
