Responsible for providing excellent support to the sales team, answering calls from customers, researching answers, forwarding calls to the right people internally, taking messages and contacting customers. You will also help researching potential new customers, contacting them and obtaining details for the sales team.
This position is ideal for an energetic, ambitious person who has an interest in developing into a Sales Manager/BDM role in the future. You will be helping provide day to day account management to existing customers and communicating with potential new customers.
This role is ideal for anyone with an interest in the car industry.
The Sales Support Administrator will be responsible for:
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers.
- Develop detailed technical knowledge of the products and range.
- Keep updated CRM reports with action items and customer information.
- Effectively manage all incoming sales enquiries
- Support the sales team in providing written quotations in line with the pricing guide and other relevant sources.
- Monitor progress of orders in terms of despatch dates and delays
- Manage primary customers to follow up enquiries and increase customer account coverage.
- Arrange customer collections and ensure all associated administration is completed, e.g. raise invoices and collection notes, request credit notes, etc.
- Maintain & update customer price files as necessary.
- Issue BOS and KPI data on a monthly basis or as required.
The Sales Support Administrator will have:
- At least 2 years’ experience in technical sales, preferably within a Remanufacturing, or engineering business.
- Experience in customer service over the phone and customer concern handling.
- Strong sales ability with a proven track record of success.
- Strong customer service focus with exceptional telephone manner.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident and assertive manner.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and multi-task.
- The ability to build effective internal and external relationships.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
