Senior Accounts Payable

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accounts Payable to join a leading construction company, based in London. The successful applicant will be supporting the Accounts Payable Manager and assisting in mentoring and managing the Junior Accounts Clerks.

Client Details

Our client are a leading name in Commercial building fit-out and design, working with clients across the UK and Internationally. The London based Finance Team are now looking for a Senior Accounts Payable to join their team in support of the AP Manager and 2 Junior AP's.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week based from their office in London.

Description

The Senior Accounts Payable will be responsible for the following:

• Collaborate with AP Manager to ensure efficient running of the Accounts Payable department
• Processing financial transactions and invoices in a timely manner
• Demonstrate proficiency in CIS regulations and ensure compliance in all Accounts Payable processes
• Manage a high volume of invoices daily
• Provide training and development to junior members of the team
• Maintaining and updating financial records
• Providing training and guidance to team members
• Maintaining a strong working relationship with clients and vendors

Profile

The successful candidate should have:

• Previous experience working in Accounts Payable within the construction industry (Essential)
• Expertise in subcontractor management and CIS compliance (Essential)
• Previous experience working in high volume environment
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
• Previous experience working within leadership or senior role
• Superb analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Offer

The Senior Accounts Payable will be entitled to the competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience, along with these other benefits:
