Senior Administrator
We are looking for a Senior Administrator to support the day-to-day running of our NHS Health Check Service.
What is the role?
- You'll provide administrative support to the NHS Health Checks team - ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the service.
- You will work closely alongside the Service Manager to ensure the support is consistent, efficient and of a high standard.
- You will play an active part in managing the day-to-day operations of the service.
You’ll join our NHS Health Checks Service which is run and delivered by Suffolk GP Federation and our third party providers. We are a not-for-profit, community interest company and our main purpose is to support Primary Care across Suffolk, including support with working collaboratively and at scale. We also deliver a portfolio of NHS services across Suffolk and North East Essex, including Podiatry, Ultrasound, Diabetes, as well as Urgent Care Services including the Out of Hours face-to-face Service in Suffolk.
Is it for me?
We will work alongside the successful candidate to ensure they are sufficiently inducted and trained; there will be regular constructive supervision in place. It is important to us that you feel safe and supported in the role.
- You’ll need previous experience of working within an administrative role at a senior level.
- If this is within healthcare, that will be an advantage to your application.
- You’ll need to be comfortable to manage workload allocation and support with supervision of non-clinical staff.
- You’ll need previous experience of using IT systems and the ability to pick these up efficiently with supportive training.
- If you have experience of data reporting, that will be an advantage to your application.
Contract type:
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week.
