Role Details - Senior Financial Accountant
We are looking for a skilled Financial Accountant to join a reputable financial services business based in Coventry on a 6 month contract.
Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Accountant
* The Financial Accountant will be responsible for identifying, sharing and spreading best practise throughout the business and demonstrating excellent teamwork
* Leading and pro-actively driving forward improvements to divisions/brands/region reporting and ensuring a high standard of financial accounting controls within these areas
* Driving forward improvements within divisions/regions through pro-active business partnering and making proactive changes to ensure a high standard of financial accounting controls and reporting relating to these divisions
* Leading on and pro-actively driving forward improvements around group wide processes (e.g. purchasing process, sales process etc). This will involve conducting regular reviews of the full processes, liaising with all stakeholders, pro-actively questioning processes and implementing change where relevant
* Ensuring that month-end and year-end processes are completed to a high standard including a full review before it is passed to the Divisional Financial Controllers/ Head of UK Group Finance

Skills required of the Expense Project Accountant
* Experienced qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
* Understand the FRS101/IFRS guidelines
* Experience of financial accounting within complex organisations
* Stakeholder management and relationship building
* Logical analytically approach to rapidly changing data and situations
