Description
- Benefits in kind, ensure this analysis is up to date, write the policy, prepare requirements that are needed for interim and year end. Feed this information into the new HR Payroll System which is currently being implemented
- Economic Crime Levy, reconciliations for 2022-23 year end, prepare for 2023-24 year end
- Impairment review carried out ahead of year end, and any journals / action taken ahead of year end
Profile
Interim Senior Financial Accountant should be:
- Qualified accountant with government accounting experience (local government and/or NHS experience would probably be suitable too)
- Able to work independently and deliver on specific pieces of work
- Good communication skills, particularly written, able to write papers, policies or respond to National Audit Office queries
- Experience in working on Benefits in Kind is essential
- Ideally with experience Impairments (including carrying out impairment reviews)
Job Offer
- An estimated salary of GBP 380 to GBP 450 per day
- 3 - 4 month role
- 1-2 days a week in the Birmingham office rest of the time from home
