Senior Financial Accountant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail orientated Senior Financial Accountant to join our successful, national, and growing client’s multiskilled finance team. Working on a hybrid/remote basis and closely with the senior Finance Team, you will help ensure the smooth processing of the financial data, assist with the statutory accounts, audit requirements, adding valued insight across the finance department and group as a whole.

Responsibilities will include;

• Ensuring that robust financial controls are implemented/maintained.
• Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager and utilising your technical skills to take a lead role within the broad financial Audit requirements of group, inc. the year-end statutory accounts & audit process.
• Underpin the financial process with strong regulatory financial oversight.
• Preparation of the year end reporting packs for Group Consolidation
• Assist/oversee the preparation of monthly financial reports and providing commentary as required.
• Review the integrity of the financial results, ensuring that accounting standards are adhered to.
• Manage and motivate up to 2 direct reports

Enthusiasm, communication skills and ability to prioritise are essential for success along with strong IT and statutory reporting experience. Exposure within the Care/Housing and NFP sectors highly advantageous.
