The UK’s leading brand in this category is continuing to grow with the release of a newly created role within the commercial business unit where there is an opportunity to lead the growth agenda with Waitrose and small format retailers for the brand. The business continues to go from strength-to-strength following major investment and is driven by its exciting NPD pipeline which has led to numerous industry and retailer awards.

Role:
Reporting into the Grocery Director, you will have full responsibility for creating and future-proofing the road map and drive growth by delivering the customer plan. You will have the autonomy to lead the growth agenda of the customer and develop the strategy in accordance with the overall channel plan whilst conducting regular reviews of business performance and promotion strategies. This is a pivotal and high-profile role in a business that continues to challenge and lead at the forefront of one of the UK’s most exciting categories.

You:
- Solid Grocery/FMCG Retail experience with strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Experience working with Waitrose would be an advantage but not essential.
- Excellent strategic thinking skills with experience of delivering brand growth.
- Customer relationship management through selling and negotiation.
- Ability to effectively monitor category performance versus plan and communicate accordingly.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be comfortable with 1-2 days p/wk in their Midlands-based HQ.

You will already be in a high-growth branded FMCG business with the ability to demonstrate success and the willingness to develop further.
