Gymkhana Fine Foods are seeking a Senior National Account Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have previous experience as an Account Manager in a quality food retailer and have a passion for fine food.

This is an excellent role for an experienced Senior National Account manager looking for an opportunity to oversee the entire retail end of the business.

Gymkhana Fine Foods is a range of premium Indian pantry staples aimed to re-imagine and elevate Indian cooking at home. It’s born from the kitchen of two-star Michelin restaurant, Gymkhana in Mayfair, London and is fast creating a new category of premium Indian at home.

Since Gymkhana first entered the London dining scene ten years ago, it has transformed the way UK diners view Indian cuisine, maintaining its Michelin star every year and recently being awarded a 2nd Michelin star in 2024. While the restaurant reimagined Indian dining out, we are here to reimagine Indian cooking with our pantry collection (of cooking sauces, marinades, and condiments) and meal-kits where consumers can enjoy the same taste, and rich depth of flavour.

The business has grown exponentially in just the first 6 months, landing listings in Whole Foods Market, Ocado, Selfridges and recently launched a concession and rotisserie residency in the iconic Harrods Food Hall. With impressive financial backing from the world’s leading F&B investors and expansion plans in the UK, Middle East, and USA in 2024/25, we are looking for an exceptional commercial manager to help create and execute a unique proposition which disrupts the category.

The Position

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Looking for a dynamic Senior National Account Manager to play a critical role in creating unique customer partnerships with the aim to step change the category.
  • You will build upon the strong network which has already been created and have responsibility for further driving multifunctional and multi-layered relationships.
  • Create, execute & evaluate best in plans including class trade and promotion plans (in store & online) which have an obsession around driving up velocities.
  • Promotional and activation analysis and evaluation with the mindset to continually improve.
  • Help create the right commercial reports and tools to help the business understand performance, insight and in turn recommendations for continual improvement.
  • Track and manage customer P&L including spend, topline and margin.
  • Oversee monthly retailer competitor monitoring (price, promo, activity)
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure high CSLs, product availability and a robust demand planning/forecasting process

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Passion for food, including Indian cuisine.
  • Experience within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels of the organisation.
  • Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Experience in creating compelling customer propositions.
  • Negotiation of contracts and terms.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of demonstrated success in brand marketing ideally in high growth CPG brands.
  • Highly organised with exceptional customer management.
  • Beloved team builder and cross-functional collaborator.
