We are currently working with a Local Authority who are looking to expand their team by recruiting a Senior Officer (Assessment Centre) to assist and lead with the day to day management of the Assessment Centre which focuses on Supported Accommodation and rent increases as well as other housing related matters.
Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Influencing the future strategic planning of the centre
- Ensuring effective processes are in place with regards to benefits claims and adapt training plans to ensure targets are achieved
- Providing technical knowledge regarding Benefits and Adult Social Care legislation
- Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders
- Assist with producing documentation and reviews in relation to budgets, planning and other items
Key requirements:
- Must have full subsidy workbook knowledge and proven Assessment experience and up to date knowledge on current legislations
- Experience of managing teams
- Experience of working in a financial environment
- Experience of working to establish and maintain relationships with a team and external stakeholders
