Senior Social Worker

Sirona Medical are recruiting a Senior Social Worker for the Safeguarding Triage Team for Essex Council.

Job Role: Focus will be on triaging and managing all new safeguarding concerns referred into Adult Social Care. This is a new innovative approach for Essex County Council and the successful applicant will be part of a team that will shape how we ensure safeguarding is made personal when applying Care Act thresholds.
The role and function of this team is to support effective decision making to ensure section 42 enquiries are progressed appropriately. There will be strong links with all quadrants as section 42 enquiries will remain their responsibility, so there is an opportunity to build strong networks in all areas.
The position will be predominantly home-based but you will be required to attend in County Hall on a Wednesday. 
Sirona Medical will be providing the Senior Social Worker on an agency contract. 
This is a full time agency position. 
As a Social Worker, you must have a degree in Social Work, 2 years post qualified experience, knowledge of complex cases and The Care Act, Social Work England Registation.
