Job Description
Our client, a leading custom design and manufacturing company with a successful track record spanning over 25 years, is looking to acquire the services of a Service Coordinator to join their Service Team. The company operates globally, catering to diverse industries, and is expanding due to continued growth. Reporting to the Service Manager, the successful candidate will be providing expansive support to the Service/Operations Department. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely execution of quotations, PO receipt, and Order Entry with meticulous attention to detail.
- Coordinate and organise the schedules of Service Engineers, aligning with location requirements and customer needs.
- Evaluate customer demand and schedule engineers based on a comprehensive skills matrix.
- Oversee logistics for both UK and international Service visits, including booking flights, accommodation, parking, rental cars, and transfers.
- Maintain an efficient Service filing system, including archival procedures as necessary.
- Collaborate in generating and issuing quotations for service visits, training sessions, and service contracts.
- Ensure prompt submission of service engineer paperwork to facilitate seamless operations.
- Demonstrate professionalism and proficiency in handling telephone communications, particularly in addressing complex queries and directing calls appropriately.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure timely responses to all customer inquiries.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance response times and overall customer satisfaction.
- Cultivate positive relationships and exert influence effectively within the organisation.
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous working experience in Customer Service.
- Previous experience in Manufacturing or Servicing.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Familiarity with Outlook Email or a similar system.
- Experience with CRM systems.
- Knowledge of Sage, SAP, or similar accounting software packages.

- Working Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 4.45pm
- Office based in Banbury
