12 MTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

About the role

Our Service Desk Analyst is part of the backbone of our organisation, helping us operate smoothly and effectively. You will be the first port of call for all queries, and being the voice of advice and support across incidents, problems, requests and changes. You will keep the business functioning even when issues arise.

How will you do this?

Joining our busy IT Operations Team, you will be supporting our user community throughout Atlanta call centres, specialist insurance units and our head offices. With your strong technical skills, you will have experience working with technologies such as Microsoft InTune, Office 365, Windows 10, Azure AD, Service Now, Lansweeper and VPN solutions such as Cisco AnyConnect. Both a problem solver and good communicator, you will try and provide resolutions as quickly as possible whilst keeping users updated. You will analyse trends in the number and type of calls received, identifying patterns, causes and implementing call reduction initiatives, working with Problem Management.

As a natural relationship builder with an inquisitive mindset, you will liaise with other support teams across the business and share knowledge regularly, working together to deliver positive outcomes. You will be a mentor for others in your team, training new colleagues and guiding them when needed.

You will also be managing the knowledge base, working with all the service delivery teams to make sure it is kept updated and current for users. As a subject matter expert, you will represent the Service Desk team, at internal reviews and meetings across departments.

You will also:

  • Identify service improvements, working with the service delivery teams to constantly monitor performance and see what can be done better
  • Promote a positive image of the Service Desk, following up with users to ensure a satisfactory resolution for queries and issues
