Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Service Desk Analyst Apprentice with Maple Technology, an IT Service Provider, based in Moorgate, London.
Job Description:
We are looking for somebody to join the support team and progress through their apprenticeship into being a fully self-starting IT Service Desk technician. Qualities we value are professionalism, interpersonal skills, excellent spoken and written communication skills, attention to detail, a drive to succeed, and most of all a genuine passion for IT and working in IT.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- Responding to telephone and email requests from clients.
- Completing remote system fixes and changes.
- Administering Microsoft Cloud Services.
- Completing proactive system checks and maintenance.
- 1stline support – take and action support calls/emails using the helpdesk.
- Coordinating with reporter/end-user, the wider IT Service Desk team, IT Engineering and third-party entities if required.
- Developing core troubleshooting skills across a range of technology.
Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
Technical & Personal Skills Required:
- Genuine passionate for technology.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Commitment to the completion of the apprentice program.
- Desire to learn.
- The ability to use your own initiative, be curious and to work unsupervised as required.
- Accuracy and attention to detail with an ability to work at pace.
- Enjoys working as part of a high performing team to achieve a common goal with a can-do attitude.
- A calm and professional manner with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Ability to remain calm in a fast paced and stressful environment.

- Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
- Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment, and monitoring of infrastructure components.
- Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance.
- Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
- Support the information systems needs for your business.
