The firm invests in both public and private companies, taking both majority and minority positions across a range of sectors and geographies. They look for situations where their entrepreneurial attitude and operational focus can add value. They will often get involved in complex situations where a bespoke finance solution needs to be found.
The fund is looking for two individuals who have a proven track record of Special Situations investing and entrepreneurial spirit. You will be involved with sourcing and screening potential investment opportunities.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 5 - 8 years for the VP role, 9+ years for the director role of experience working in corporate restructuring, private credit, private equity, or Special Situations, specifically with hands-on experience in directly managing investments.
- Candidates must have 9+ years for the director role working in corporate restructuring, private credit, private equity, or Special Situations, specifically with hands-on experience in directly managing investments.
- Interpersonal skills and maturity to communicate effectively with lower middle market management teams and extract actionable intelligence from complex situations;
- Advanced Excel Skills: Ability to build operational and financial models, correlation, valuation, runoff, liquidation, and various other types of analyses with limited supervision;
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the capability to manage multiple complex situations in parallel, understanding the operating requirements of private businesses during growth, evolution and potentially turnaround phases;
- Ability to understand and negotiate complex investment agreements
