As a Supply Chain Operative, you will be contributing to the delivery and support of Supply Chain activities, covering Demand planning, Inventory Supply Planning, Supplier Management, Financial Accounting and Supply Chain Performance Management. Data you provide to stakeholders will support their decision making. You will be working collaboratively within a large team to ensure the delivery of time sensitive outputs for our front-line customers. It is a fast-paced role and will involve contributing to large amounts of customer engagement, allowing you to gain experience and skills within stakeholder management and both written and verbal communication.
You will be supported by your line managers, and you will have the opportunity to develop your career within SDA and the wider organisation through formal training and on the job learning.
At SDA, we champion flexible ways of working. Regular in-person attendance is expected 3 days per a week at the Bristol offices to promote the benefits of face-to-face collaboration alongside flexibility of hours to support work-life balance. Initially, you may be expected to attend more frequently to familiarise yourselves with the site, the team, and your role.

What you'll be doing
- Creating and maintaining Item Data Records onto the MOD Logistic Information Systems for an agreed range of equipment.
- Monitoring Supply Chain activities to ensure compliance with the Defence Logistics Framework and on other Ministry of Defence Supply Chain regulations.
- Utilising Ministry of Defence Logistics Information Systems to provide Supply Chain data on request.
- Collaborating closely with the wider organisation's Chain Managers on all matters related to Inventory held within related sites across the UK.
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders as required on matters related to stores availability to customers.
- Producing stock data to enable customers and stakeholders to plan essential maintenance of submarines.

To be successful with your application, you'll need to show that you meet the following essential criteria:
- Experience of customer service and stakeholder engagement
- Evidence of successfully working collaboratively with others
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)?
- Skilled in the handling, interpreting, and processing of data
