LOCATION: Radstock, Bath

START DATE: Immediate

SALARY: £30,000 per annum

PERMANENT

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours

Mon to Thur 08.00-17.00, Fri 08.00-11.30

Supply Chain Co-Ordinator

Our client is seeking a Supply Chain Co-Ordinator, to be responsible for all aspects of purchasing, inventory control and Supply Chain and vendor management within a technology design and distribution environment.

General duties would include, but are not limited to:

• Selection and evaluation of new vendors in accordance with company policies and objectives
• Continuously review and monitor vendor performance
• Review and fulfilment of materials demand from the MRP-generated requirements system to ensure on-time delivery of materials to production
• Review of inventory policies for materials to ensure compliance
• Processing, entry and monitoring of purchase orders and entry into ERP system
• Liaising with vendors to obtain pricing and lead time information, along with continuous cost and lead-time reduction
• Processing and entry of purchase invoices/statements
• Handling invoice queries by email and telephone
• Support the stores person with unpacking, checking and processing of goods received and entry of receipt into the company ERP system
• Processing, entry, and monitoring of customer orders for parts and services and issuing sales acknowledgements.
• General administrative duties including ERP system data entry, and use of Office 365

Skills and Experience required:

• Driven and willing to learn.
• Experience of using Microsoft Office 365 and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills via telephone and emails.
• ISO9001:2015 Certified Quality Management System experience.
• The successful candidate must be happy to work in both the office and industrial environments - which will involve manual handling of stock.
• You must be happy to work in a fast past environment with the emphasis on high customer demands.
