An exciting opportunity has arisen for two temporary Teaching Assistants to join our very effective team at Greenside Primary School. The successful applicant will work throughout school supporting children with SEND and teachers in class.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and patient person who is able to relate well to children and adults. Good numeracy, literacy and basic ICT skills are required. Experience with SEND children is desirable or be willing to attend training to develop your skills with SEND children.
The successful candidate will need to:
- Preferably have previous experience of working in a school and is interested in working with children with SEND
- Be committed to the safeguarding of children
- Be committed to the education of children
- Be committed to inclusive practices
- To work as an effective team member
- Have the ability to relate to and empathise with pupils and to develop trusting and respectful relationships
