Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, on a rolling rota basis (24/7, 365 days per year). Typically 3 12.5 hour shifts per week.

Role Summary:
As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting our service users to live fulfilling lives by providing direct support to our Senior Carers and Support Workers. This role involves leading a team with compassion and professionalism, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to uphold our commitment to excellence in care provision.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership:
- Deputise for the manager, contributing to strategic decision-making.
- Conduct compliance audits within the home to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Provide leadership and act as a positive role model for the team.
- Manage rotas to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Deliver effective supervision to Support Workers.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration within the service.
- Motivate, support, and mentor team members, offering debriefing and guidance as needed.
- Assist in defining and maintaining the quality of service provision.
- Facilitate team meetings and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
Support:
- Perform duties expected of Support Workers, including personal care, meal preparation, and domestic tasks.
- Support service users with health appointments and liaise with external agencies.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
- Ensure the health and safety of service users at all times.
- Be available on-call as required.
- Conduct staff inductions and training sessions.
- Assist with maintenance tasks and house risk assessments.
- Liaise with family members and attend professional meetings as necessary.
- Oversee petty cash and implement management policies.
- Conduct training audits and ensure compliance with Nourish Audits

Experience and Skills

- Knowledge of relevant regulations and safeguarding procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Have a Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience of supervising staff
- If applicable, not require sponsorship for at least 6 months. Our company policy is that you would need to pass your probationary period (3 months) for this to be considered.
