Pay rate: £17-£24 per hour
£17-£19 per hour for 29 hours (support worker responsibilities) & £5 more per hour for Team leader duties (6 hours per week)
Shifts and schedule:
School term day shifts – 14.30 – 21.30 Monday to Friday
Waking night shifts – 21.00 – 09.00 Monday to Sunday
School holiday day shifts – 09.00 – 21.00
Priority Recruitment are excited to present this fantastically paid brand-new opportunity for a Team Leader in Milton Keynes.
We are seeking a patient, caring Team Leader for a 5-year-old girl living with cerebral palsy and a brain injury. She enjoys messy play, stacking cups, stickle bricks, stretchy sensory toys, musical toys and toys that light up.
The role includes personal care and peg feeding and supporting her in her day-to-day life.
We are searching for a Team Leader who shares our belief that disability is not a barrier and doesn’t have to stop anyone from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences.
The additional Team Leader responsibilities cover admin, rotas, supervisions, etc.
Initially, this is a temporary role with the opportunity to be employed permanently after an initial trial period.
Please note that previous experience in complex care and a driver’s license is required for this role.
Salary & Benefits:
- Fantastic pay rate of £17 per hour during the week and £19 per hour at weekends for support worker duties (29 hours per week).

- Supporting the client at her own home.
- Our client lives with a brain injury and bilateral cerebral palsy, generalised hypertonia, dystonic movement disorder, microcephaly, and visual impairment and is dependent on gastrostomy feeding.
- She enjoys going out in her buggy and going to the playground at the park. She has a sensory trolley and fibre optics which she enjoys engaging with.
- The client is dependent on her parents and current support workers for all of her needs. She has a clinical team including a paediatric occupational therapist, a paediatric physiotherapist and a speech and language therapist that you will be expected to support in implementing their recommended treatment programmes with our client.
- Personal care will be involved as well as peg feeding.
- Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
- Previous experience with clients living with cerebral palsy or brain injury and complex care is essential.
- Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, nights, and weekends).
