Team Manager, Children with Disability Team – Assessment & Review
Grade 10 - £50,512 - £54,762 per annum, plus payment of an Marker Supplement £1239 per annum and 2 % Recruitment and Retention Allowance.
Together for Children works on behalf of Sunderland City Council to deliver children’s services in the city including social care, early help and education. We work with unborn babies and children/young people until they are 18 years old.

We are looking for a suitably experienced Team Manager to join the Children with Disability Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team, based at the Sandhill Centre.
The Children with DisabilityAssessment & Review Team assess, monitor and review care packages of support. Your work will include the oversight of focused assessments whilst working closely with partner agencies to ensure the complex needs of children and young people are met. You will have an established track record in safeguarding and supervision, whilst also having knowledge and understanding of legislation which underpins social work practice, specific to children and young people with disabilities. With proven experience in delivering statutory children’s social care services, you will have the skills and expertise to motivate and support the team, setting high standards and enabling excellent practice.
