Temporary Finance Manager Part-Time

Our impressive client is seeking a part-time Finance Manager to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function.

Working with the Bursar and Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in analysing financial performance, ensuring accurate and timely reporting alongside monthly management accounts and  VAT returns and submissions.

Starting as soon as possible, you will be working two days per week, Monday to Friday.

This assignment will be ongoing until the end of June and has the possibility to become permanent for the right candidate.

Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role will start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.

Temporary Finance Manager (part-time) Responsibilities

As the Temporary Finance Manager some of your main duties will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and analysis of any issues
• Preparing statutory accounts
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Assisting with year end accounts
• Assisting with the annual budget
• Ensuring compliance activities

Temporary Finance Manager (part-time) Requirements

• An experienced Xero user
• Previous experience as a Finance Manager
• Previous experience with financial monthly report and VAT/PAYE returns
• Ability to work autonomously and part of a small team
• Effective communicator with a positive can-do attitude

Our client is based in Central Oxford with no on-site parking, however excellent public transport links and local amenities.
